[ There is so, so much skepticism on his end of things about Miyuki's ""apology."" But Itsuki is also aware of the fact that he's biased in this situation, so he's trying to approach it logically. ]

apologies aren't really much except words unless actions back them up, and the person in question accepts the apology.

i don't think either of them can manage that if they're just thrown right back together afterwards. so a little break might help ease the situation into a more manageable state.
